I'm wondering... how would you all design a hero (I'm thinking brick type, though maybe energy projector) who has a bad heart? This may be going hand in hand with the Age disad, though I might change that to just reflect the strain that his powers/origins inflict on his body.
On one hand, I could go the easy route, and just make it a phys lim of some sort. But I'm looking for an actual, mechanical effect to cover those instances that he just pushes himself too far.
Any thoughts? Opinions? Advice?

Make everything he has cost at least x2END, possibly more. He will tired out very quickly.

THe occational hit of nitro when the chest feels tight from pushing too hard.
I would just buy less end and con to simulate being tired quickly.
Dependacy on healthy diet or various meds, or death results.

I had been playing with an idea like this at one point. I built it as a susceptibility 3d6 (possibly as body if it's a really serious heart problem) whenever the character spent more than (x) END in a phase....which i figured would be Uncommon, since he'd have control over when this happened.

Reduce his REC, harshly. You may not need to cut his END, depending on how large that is to begin with.
An actual strong heart attack is adequately modeled by a large BODY Drain, probably. Minor attacks would be large END and probably STUN Drains, with delayed recoveries.

Right. But with a large heart attack, you might want to add a _permanent_ reduction to REC or END, even if only a small one. During a large heart attack, some of the heart tissue actually dies from lack of oxygenation. It won't come back to life.
Uh---
never mind. That really depends on how real vs comic book you want to go, doesn't it?

Perhaps a STUN drain side effect on all of this powers?
