The September Art Poll for what art Death Tribble asks for from Storn next

Hear ye ! Hear ye ! Hear ye ! Hear ye go again !

Know ye that the Tribble, yes that Tribble, does offer the viewers of this forum the opportunity for the second year in a row to influence which piece of art is next attempted by the veritable artist Storn for the Tribble's pleasure. Only Captain Communist from last year's chouces has not yet been commissioned. All the pics are in the Storn thread including last years winner the Robot Nun.

And now a timely reminder. As yon Tribble doth pay for the art then it is upto him whence the ideas come from. This is before you deluge the Tribble with complaints saying your idea is better. Be it also known that the only art shown will be the completed piece not any underlying drawings.

Be that as it may the choices are from the following:-

One signature character that the Tribble did play in a previous campaign
The Unicorn (Pic attached)

To boost the number of good aligned heroes with holy weaponry, The Battle Angel. Dark haired but short not even reaching to neck. Female. Burning Halo. Armour that is dented and seen better days. Wings natch. Weapon of choice a two handed spear that is not thrown.

To boost the users of holy or divine magic, The Cardinal. Full red cloak and skull cap. Beard and mustache maybe ? Inspired by a pic of Cardinal Richleau from Three Musketeers fame.

Liberty Helle. Female devil or demon type fighting for truth, justice and the American way.

Czarina. Russian female operating in America bears the Russian colours pre and post Communism.

Judge. Wears the full regalia of a British high court judge. Inspired by one of the Teen Titan stories.

Pterra Don. Half Prehistoric bird, half man but all evil Mafiosi. Full Dinosaur bird head and wings but the suit of a Mafioso. Plus a flower in the button hole.

Fantomas. Literary version of Moriarty in France. Top hat, tails and Opera cloak. Lone Ranger style mask over eyes.

Energiser. Female energy projector with long dark hair, short skirt amd a powerful force field.

Knight Templar. Modern day version of the Knight Templer but no guns or camaflague.

The choice I leave upto you and you have the better part of a moth.

Liberty Helle, all the way! My campaign has many expatriot demons stuck in our world. Some are villians, some are heros, some are shopkeepers. I'd love to see a Patriot Demon!

Hold it. What are you all doing?

I mean, I can see the attraction of Battle Angel. Tribby paints a good picture of her with his description. In fact I can almost see Storn's portrait of her in my head. It would be lovely.

I also understand Unicorn. A new image would breathe life into a once loved character.

There are a number of really good choices on this list. My compliments to Death Tribble.

However.

Only one choice on that list will get us a Storn created image of a dinosaur in a pinstriped suit, people, and who here doesn't want to see that? Pterra Don, it's so horrible it's perfect! Just picture him strafing your heroes with his Tommy Gun, "Say hello to my little friend, RAAAWWWK!!" RATATATATATATAT!

It's like the Marvel writing staff got high and decided it would be 'cool' if Sauron and the Kingpin had a baby boy (actually, considering some of Marvel's recent story decisions, drugs may not need to be invovled).

There are a couple of films where Fantomas was a smart alec baddy made in the 60s. Made the French hero police officer look silly.

However the original books by Allain and Souvestre make him the French equivalent of Moriarty. Would make a good Pulp Hero villain as well.

Originally I was getting names together for Dynamo's great list. And recalling old DC books and Universe guides remembered Liberty Bell. Now you can't have that IP etc. But you could extrapolate. So you get Liberty Helle. And there you have the quick origin of the name. If not the character.

There is one more week for the poll to go.

And if you have any ideas on how Liberty Helle should look should this choice win, the post them. So far I am going with a no wings look after Storn did a large winged demon type for me previously. So a tail and horns. But skin colour could be blackish or green. And something patriotic needs to be in the pic. Is she holding the flag ? Does she have a T-Shirt with the flag on it or some sort of smaller insignia ?

How about Red Skin, White Romanesque style Outfit, with blue trim?

Or a Red and White striped top, with a blue skirt with stars?

Horns are a given. Not sure whether you should go with big ram horns, tiny devil horns, or something in between.

Skin. If the character doesn't have enough distinguishing traits to make it easily identifiable as a demon, I'd go with Red. But if she's got horns and a tail, you can get away with flesh tone.

If you go with the red skin, i'd suggest Silver hair. Otherwise, flame red hair.

Clothing. First instinct was a big, sweeping southern-belle ball gown, but that's not practical (Not that most costumes are!). I'd suggest Dark glasses (to hide her oddly colored pupils). I'm mostly drawing a blank here.

Tail is mostly optional.

However, I *do* recommend cloven hooves.

Hmm ... a patriotic demon?
How about a woman of impressive stature with large ram horns that look a bit charred and white hair. I would go with a yellow-green skin tone with sickly yellow eyes and hoves (because they look kewl ;) ). As far as a costume ... I think that having bracers on both her wrists and calves would be neat, as well as a circular star pattern on her chest much like the old American flag. I'd go with white stars and a red & blue patterned outfit ... maybe in the form of a flowing tunic? Or maybe a Wonder Woman-esque costume? How about a hammer as a weapon? Something that she hits the ground with that causes an earth-shattering sonic explosion? Hence the name?
