There seems to be a misunderstanding regarding my force wall question, allow me to elaborate.
If I fire a ranged attack (RKA, EB, etc) at a person in a force wall and it does enough damage the wall is destroyed and the remaining damage goes to the super in the force wall.
My question was about using a HTH attack, something like this;
A hero rushes towards a villian (in a force wall) and strikes the wall with his HTH attack [punch, sword etc]
What then??
Does it bring down the wall, and what about the remaining damage?

OK, now I see what you're saying.

If the FW has been created at a distance from the character creating it (more than 1" away from where the character's standing), then the HTH attack just brings the Wall down. None of the damage that gets through affects the character, unless the attacker has a HTH weapon with enough reach to get to him (such as a polearm).

If the FW is created closer in than described above, the attack goes through and damages the Wall's creator as normal.
