Ok I started on champions 1st through 3rd eddition and havent needed a new game since , but now that 5th rev came out I figured maybe I should take a look see. Now I have sat down with my gameing group and we have loved everything but one question still gnaws at us .

Sweeping is described as being able to grab another limb during a grab, and two weapon fighting allows for a second attack coming from the off hand. Is it within normal thinking to use lvls of sweeping as penalty skill lvls to negate making a second third or however many attacks?

If not what would you suggest other than auto fire, which does not accuratly depict a characters skill with an attack or weapon.

I'm not quite sure I understand what you're asking. Characters can buy Combat Skill Levels to apply to increase their OCV and thus in effect offset the OCV penalty for Sweeping. They cannot buy Penalty Skill Levels to reduce/counteract the OCV penalty for a Combat or Martial Maneuver, as discussed on page 66 of 5ER.
