I am a gamer who is going to be living in Portland over the summer and I want to throw down with some HERO.

I have never played HERO before, but I am a mature and experienced RPGer, both player and GM. I just picked up 5E and am a new convert.

Genre doesn't matter to me. Nor does my role within the group (tank/caster/rogue/whatever). I do like playing with serious, story driven gamers, however.

I'm pretty sure you can find a group or two in Portland. Unfortunately, I'm currently trapped in a d20 campaign (not a bad one mind you, but not Hero).

CK, I run a Champions game that may or not suit you. (I think we scared at least one player away...)
I'm not sure if you can call us completly serious, but most of us have been playing Hero for many years...
Anyway, shoot me an email, our next game is June 14 and we are close to the MAX line.

I would suggest visiting Bridgetown Hobbies and Games at 33rd and Sandy. They've got some message boards that people post on in search of games or players.

It's my favorite store in town.

I live in Beaverton and would be interested in running/playing Fantasy Hero or something, but my group's in transition (currently playing Fudge) and I won't be available until after July 4th. I do have players coming from the east side though, both driving and Tri-met.
