Any chance of a status of new runs on the core rules. I get most of my books direct, but since I didn't need have a critical a new of a new core book I ordered one through my FLGS. It is a newer one and I have been trying to throw some support their way. I went ahead and prepaid because I know that helps the brick and morter crowd. But they have had it on back order through their distributer since the dawn of time :winkgrin:
That doesn't really matter to me, I'll get it when I get it and all.
But I am about to start a Hero game at the store in the next few weeks. I have my book and 4 Sidekicks as loaners. But the quickest way to kill enthusiasm in a new game is for the rulebooks to unavailable. And yes I know that the PDF's are available, but out of the 20 or so gamers I have talked to in the area, only one actually uses PDF books. Mostly because he is the only one who is willing to drag his laptop all over hill and dale. Most are like me, they own a few PDF's but mostly like to have the book in hand.
Except of course for the REALLY REALLY REALLY GREAT and AWESOME Hero Plus adventures!!
I like those because I can just print off the pages I need and write on them as the game goes on. And then shred afterwards.

When do you see copies of the Hero and Sidekick hitting the shelves again?
