Someone on the boards here mentioned a team consisting of Bulldozer, Blowtorch, and some other individuals. One was named Buzzsaw.
Is this a listed NPC? Where? I love'm buzzsaws, and saws, and ... saws! :D Where can I find 'em?

There's a guy named Chainsaw in High Tech Enemies...

Actually, there was a whole team called the Destruction Company in High-Tech; Power Tool, Live Wire, Chainsaw, Blowtorch (I think?), Countdown and Jackhammer.
Does anybody else think Bulldozer should get a tag-team partner named Piledriver?:D

To be honest, that sounds more like the "Deconstructionists".
I would think if you were truly the Construction Crew, you would have code names like Joist, Drywall, Nailer, Tyler, Plumber, and maybe Repairer. Now that sounds like a team to put up a house, instead of taking one down.
{uh... too early in the morning to be posting coherently}

You are thinking of the Destruction Company from High Tech Enemies. These guys remain my favorite second string villians. They don't want to take over the world or anything, they are in it for the money and specialize in widespread damage. They are also pretty good in a brawl. What more can you ask for in a team of theme thugs?
PowerTool (leader)
Livewire (mindless bezerker)
Jackhammer
Chainsaw
--(a pair of muscle bound good ole boys)
Countdown (explosives expert)
Burnout (pyromaniac who had a rivalry with blowtorch)
They all wore power armor constructed by Powertool.
The only Buzzsaw I know of was more or less a random superthug from an old 4th edition adventure. (not sure of the adventure name, it was a whodunnit murder mystery set in stronghold)

Buzzsaw was in a 4th edition suppliment Champions Presents #2 in the adventure Murder in Stronghold. He had vibrational powers ala Mackie Messer from Wildcards. If your not familiar with Mackie, he could vibrate his hands so fast they could cut through things.

I made up a team called the Destruction Crew that was composed of...
Blowtorch
Bulldozer
Piledriver
Sledge
They hired themselves out to do um...destruction jobs. :D Want a competitor torns down...literally...hire these guys! Need a distraction while you commit some other heinous crime? These are the patsy's you are looking for! :)

Another cool element to the Destruction Company is one that doesn't appear often among published Champions teams, or many comics for that matter: all the villains' costume/armor followed the same basic design, giving them a distinct team "look" - which also made sense since they were all constructed by the same guy.

Ah, cool.
Dang, and here I was hoping for some dude decked out with sawblades. :)

Heh, in my world, there is a group called "Bases, Inc." which is actually a construction company that has 'supers' that aren't quite as high in the points as your average super hero group - so they took their slightly better than normal abilities and created a company that builds bases as well as repairs damage wrought by super encounters. Such people include a couple who just have clinging and nothing else - for high scaffolding work, a welder with uber-hot hands, tunneler and some people who can work magic with metal.

Fun idea, I like putting supers and "deuce" supers into proffesions. May I borrow that?

"Thank you for coming to Precog Burger! Here is your order, that will be $8.37, which we've already deducted from your account. There's napkins, salt, and extra catsup. Have a good evening, don't take the bypass on the way home, and we'll see you next Tuesday for lunch!"

Scary thought. Anyone want to write up stats for Kid Foucault or Derrida Man?

It reminds me of the Aftermath Inc. company, in the 4th Ed Champions Universe : there was a super-strong ape-like guy, a energy sponge and a stone shaper (and maybe others)

Sure. Anything I post here I expect to get ripped off, er, borrowed and used. That is why I keep my more 'important stuff' off the boards. ;)
Nah, I don't have an ego.
