I admit that joining this discussion board was due to an ulterior motive. I will explain further down.

But I find myself very melancholy over memories of superhero adventures that our gaming group experienced once a week, twice a week for a few of us. Most were kind of goofy. They were all full of adventure, and I was the pain in the butt of the group. I was the taunter. My specialty, hiding behind the team brick and insulting the supervillains. And with a name like "The Vex", who would expect anything less.

Our game master was tremendous, week after week he lead us through major game arcs. Every action we took resulted in something unexpected later down the road. This is how I ended up going supernova in the cold vacuum of space. But it was glorious.

I am not sure if anybody else is as sentimental about their first superhero campaign. I miss the hell out of that game. I'd like to hear if anyone else feels as sentimental as I do about their first Champions game.

Oh, and my ulterior motive. I did a random search on a tag line that my old super partner used all the time. "That may be well so true, but my mind working am not." It brought me here. So this is a shout out to Yogzilla. Man, it's been what 15, 16 years since we were a team? Dude, the Vex never ever forgot Power Knight, never will. So email me dammit!
