I don't have my book with me, so all I could do was search the FAQ and the Eratta. Perhaps someone can answer this for me:

Here's the scenario: A guy has a ForceField as his primary defense. He gets hit by an attack that does double-knockback. After calculating it turns out that the character does take knockback. BUT in this case the initial blow as enough to render the guy unconscious. Here's the question:

On the unconscious guy, is the force field still up by the time he hits the wall behind him? Or did it drop the second he was knocked unconscious and therefore he's pretty defenseless when he hits the wall?

All powers are considered 'up' until the end of the segment. So the person would still have his FF up when he hit the wall, even if unconcious.
