...never mind. WTF do I have to do make the "Hero Boards" export template actually work?

they don't. The HERO Boards templates were made for html which the boards no longer allow due to secuirty. There is a nice TXT BB Code export template that RPMiller threw together for us. I think it's on the free stuff section.

Ah. Well, that would explain it. Thanks for the info. Now I've got the new template.
