It's not clear to me what exactly the parameters of the variable effect +2 advantage are with respect to aid. Is it "aid to all powers or characteristics", or "aid to all powers and characteristics"?

Would, for example, aiding all base characteristics, figured characteristics, and powers be three separate +2-advantaged aid powers? Would it be possible to just buy one aid, with 2 or 3 +2 advantages to reflect this?
Or is it all covered under the basic +2 advantage?

(yes, I know the idea above is an extraordinarily powerful ability.)

At the +2 Variable Effect level, an Adjustment Power covers all abilities of a given special effect simultaneously. How they're denominated in game terms -- Powers, Characteristics, Skills, Boogins, Alphabits -- is irrelevant. What matters is that good ol' special effect... and, of course, the GM's judgment as to when a particular ability derives from a given special effect. ;)

To go beyond that, see 5ER 112 re: multiple special effects.

Does that answer your question? If not, please post a follow-up and I'll try again. :hex:
