Under the post you just answered would it then be safe to asume that a character to do a flash vs. Mental awareness to prevent being spotted by the target of his mental blast?

Assuming the target had Mental Awareness in the first place, Flashing it would prevent him from seeing the "bolt" lash out from the target's head to his his head. He might still see any other indications of the attack, like the character glaring at him.
