[Passing Strike] differs from a Move By in that (a) characters pay for it, (b) it provides different CV modifiers, (c) it does full STR damage instead of STR/2, (d) the attacker doesn't take 1/3 damage, and (e) the attacker can't perform "Multiple Passing Strikes" the way he can do Multiple Move Bys.
Regarding (e): We had assumed that Passing Strike functions, essentially, as a Martial Move By. Since the Sweep mechanic cannot be used with Move By, we had assumed Sweep also cannot be used with Passing Strike, but that one would need to do Multiple Passing Strikes instead. If Multiple Passing Strikes are out, can you use Sweep with Passing Strike?
