Updating HD2 with files from UNTIL DB, Etc

When you DL the files from the store - Champions, Until database, Dark Champions, etc. I could find no directions on how to instal them into the HD2 software. There is often a mix of file types from example characters to power types, etc.
Perhaps I just wasn't looking in the right place, are there directions? I was surprised to get just a download of data with no additional informatin on how to "plug it in" to the HD2 program.

You've already answered your own question, I think: the character packs are comprised of character files (hdc), prefabs (hdp), and the occasional template (hdt). Use the files like you would any other file of that type (load the characters as normal, load in the prefabs as needed, use the templates when designing new characters).
