Just wondering - not a big deal, though I preferred the pop-up. Were too many people's pop-up blockers getting in the way?

Duhhh! *slaps forehead*

That's probably why I gave up on rep. long ago - I clicked the scales and nothing happened. I didn't even consider it might be a popup

cheers, Mark

That a security reasons I'm guessing.

Security for this site? I suppose it could be, though I can't recall that ever being something we've done for our more secure sites.

Thanks to whoever switched them back to pop-ups :)

I like the pop-ups, but then I have a clicking addiction.

The pop up is ok, Firefox seems to know that the pop comes from the site ok.

What I could do with out is the confirmation box afterwards. Redundant and a little annoying too.

Oh BTW, thread says "need...brains...."

I swear. You have Jason's Blame Avoidance power. Whenever in a situation where someone should rightfully be blaming Jason, the blame is automatically shifted elsewhere. Darndest thing I've ever seen.

Stupid threacromancy.

Firefox has a plugin called "NoScript" that allows you to set which sites you will allow scripts to run on. That way you can block pop-ups for other sites, but allow them for herogames to use rep, etc.

It goes the other way, too:

I hadn't even read that thread, and someone managed to engage me in debate within it anyway :nonp:
