The Ultimate Metamorph has an excellent write-up of a "Nanometal robot". Should be exactly what you're looking for....I think it was in the 6-700 point range.

I'm working on it. Seven of the 12 sisters (http://www.herogames.com/forums/showthread.php?t=62727) are done and since Oct-Nov-Dec are triplets I am that much closer.
