I think there is an error for one of the adders under Extra-Dimensional Movement.

It should be +10 points for ŤAny location in a related group of dimensionsť. When I tried it, HD calculated it as if it was +15 points.

You're reading the book wrong.

20 Character Points to transport the Character to any single location in a single other dimension.

+5 Character Points for any location in a single other dimension = 25 points total

+10 Character Points for any location in a related group of dimensions = 20+5+10 = 35 points total

+10 character Points for any location in any dimention = 20+5+10+10 = 45 points total

That is the source of the numbers that HD gives.

Well, now I don't now what to think.

It's just that there is a power from a character in CU that I was writing into HD to use later, and the calculation for his EDM implies that the adders are mutually exclusive.

Yes, I know, it is only one example... :)
So I am asking Steve about it. I will post his answer probably sometime tomorrow morning.

Steve posted. The book is in error.

You can figure this out for yourself by just looking at the different levels. Do you really think that EDM to "related group of dimensions, any location" and EDM to "any dimension, any location" are the same cost? They're both listed as +10....

They're not adders...they're levels to the base cost. That's why HD treats them as different options on the Power and not as adders.

"Dan is correct."

Short, to the point. Hard to get confused with that answer. :D

Sorry for about that...
