Character is pictured lifting a Sturmpanzerwagen AV7 over his head. His arms are almost fully extended. The AV7 weighs in at 33,500 kg. What's his STR? Using my Over Head = x2 at Waist = x4 Just off the Ground, I get a max lift of 134 tons, or roughly a 62 STR.
Anyone else have an idea?

If he looks like he's straining, that sounds like a good ballpark figure. If he looks like he could do it all day, he's probably a good deal stronger.

I'm thinking a 65 STR, just to make it simple.
The character in question is PS 238's Mr. Extraordinary, who I personally like a great deal, considering he's a background superhero in the setting.

He was their First Superhero / Golden Age Superman tribute, right? Very good story.
Ultimate Brick lists a Snatch (throwing somethig from the ground to full extension over your head in one movement) as 40% of your lifting capacity. So, a STR 65 sounds about right.

Yes. In the PS238 world he's the reason most superhumans go masked, as he was public known, and a ruthless FBI agent was able to use his family against him for a while.
I also located West Port, and for him to run from there to the Missouri River in under 5 minutes, he had to be hitting near 60 mph.

Quietly funny PG rated comic book series about a grade school for Supers. (http://archive.gamespy.com/comics/nodwick/ps238/index.htm)
It's light stuff, but some very good stories sneak up on you as the series progreses. The Mister Extraordinary story convinced me that there was more to the series than I'd at first thought.
