I'm putting Thorn in Hero Designer(Cheap:D ). Most his stats are bought Only In Hero ID. I grouped them into a Compound Power, so the power list isn't 6 miles long. I was doing his DEX wich is plus 10, 30 active points. It should cost 24 points, Hero Designer claims 18. I may be doing something wrong but I don't know what.

Looks like you've got "Add Modifiers to Base Characteristic" checked. That gives 18 points:

+10 DEX = 30 Active Points

30/1.25 = 24 Real Points

10 DEX (base) = 30 Active Points
30/1.25 = 24 Effect Points for Base DEX

30 - 24 = 6 points.

24 - 6 (the savings from your base DEX) = 18 points (final cost)
