Hey all! I'm sure you're sick of seeing all my threads about this and that which never really seem to go anywhere... Well, now I'm asking for more. I expect I'll ask a gazillion questions and need a majillion things. So, here is the thread where I ask for stuff. If you're a GM or player and need something from HERO-philes for Champions, feel free to use this thread.

So! For my first request... I need details on a massive sky-scraper either in Houston, or to add to Houston. What sort of businesses/homes would be in such a building? What sort of buildings would be next to it?

Well, for Houston, an oil company might not be so bad, or something related to shipping (with ports so close by). Despite Texas's reputation as a country cowboy feel, we are high-tech, so maybe something like that.

You might consider an upgrade to the Transco Tower (http://architecture.about.com/library/bl-johnson-transco.htm) which dominated the skyline of SW Houson for much of my late teens. It was not the tallest building in town but it was the tallest in its area and could be seen from miles away.

Houston is the headquarters for a lot of American Oil companies so odds are that a huge skyscraper located there will have something to do with Big Oil. Something like the old Roxxon company (Marvel Comics) might be fun.
