Poking my way through more of Ult Brick, it mentions that a Grabber being knocked out releases his hold on a Grabbee at the end of the phase in which he's KO'd. Would that mean that getting the Grabber conscious again before the end of the phase (through Aid or an absorption of the KO'ing attack, say) would result in the Grab being maintained?

Also, I just remembered a disagreement we had playing a while ago. When someone is reduced to negative BODY, they're certainly bleeding to death. I thought (and I was unable to find a reference to support this :( ) that they were unconscious as well. Was I wrong about that? Can someone do First Aid on themselves to keep from dying?

Thanks again.

1. Yes, that would generally be correct, though of course the GM’s free to adjudicate things as he sees fit based on the circumstances, special effects, game balance, common and dramatic sense, and so on.

2. I hate to have to say it, but yes, you were wrong. :( See 5ER 410, top right (under "Minimum Damage From Injuries," which is also a header in 5E and IIRC contains the exact same info in that book). You can also find this information on pages 112-13 of The HERO System Combat Handbook, if you have that fine tome. :hex:
