Im not very computer literate and I am wondering how do i change a xml file to a hdc file so I can view it in character sheet form.

I don't think Hero Designer has an Import function, meaning it won't be able to parse the XML code to turn it into a valid HDC file. Dan could correct me if I'm wrong on that though...

I'm not exactly sure on what you're looking to do (or why)....but I suspect that you're a bit confused on a few concepts.

HD uses an xml format for most of its files. This includes hdc (character) files.

You don't take an xml file and turn it into an hdc file -- while such a concept is (technically) possible, chances are likely that unless you're dealing with a file structure that is already almost identical to the hdc file (with proper rules being followed, etc.) you're going to effectively recreate HD in its entirety in order to convert the file.

If you have an hdc file, then you're done. Just open it in hd.

You downloaded hdc files (most likely). Just make sure you save them with an hdc extension and open them in HD.
