I'm using HD 2.42

I tried using HD to enter a minor (-0) limitation into a power build... But HD listed it as (+0), and stuck it in with the advantages... Just a quirk I noticed...

It's not a quirk -- it's expected behavior.

0 is neither a Limitation nor an Advantage. A decision had to be made where to place it (i.e. with a + or a - before it). We decided to go with +0 as the majority of the published examples follow this pattern.

The good news is that it doesn't make the slightest difference in the world.

accept in charges and clips

Still doesn't make a difference there.

I believe that what you are attempting to refer to is where the "break point" is for determining whether a level of clips increases by a multiple of 2 or a multiple of 4 -- something which HD takes into account and calculates appropriately.

The display remains unchanged...and meaningless in the case of +/- 0 Modifiers.

HDv 2.42 still gives 4 clips on 12 charges with one level of clips it should give only 2 clips.

Correct, as that was a rules clarification/change that came about well after v2 went under a code freeze.

The change has long-since been incorporated into HDv3 and will be available as soon as it goes on sale next month.

It may not make any difference in the Math, but I would prefer a Limitation to be with the other Limitations, even if it is (-0)...

Since the Limitations are sorted by value, they will be.

This will not be changed in any way, shape, or form.

I'm lost on how to do this, then... How do you use HD to set up a Limitation, make it (-0), and have it stay in with the other Limitations...?

By using a custom export template which lists all Modifiers in increasing/decreasing order.

If you want for the display of the aiblity to be different from the way that Steve Long has told me to display things, then you will need to create your own export template and specify the order in which to display things. It will not be particularly easy....so you may do better by commissioning a custom version of the application for your own use if it is very important to you.
