Just finished a session of play. For the first time in a while I was playing rather than GMing. 2 players couldnt make it this week, so it was just 2 players and 1 GM, but despite (or perhaps bcs of) the short staff, we had a blast.

The last several sessions (from the GM side of the screen) were really frustrating and lead me to burn out almost to the point of not playing at all for awhile. Im getting married (again) next weekend and Ive got a lot of crap going on at work. Basically, it is a trying time right now, so I was thinking about laying off gaming for a while until things settle down. However, I went ahead and played today and boy am I glad I did.

Isnt amazing how great a good game session can be? It washes away the memory of the not-so-great sessions in a snap, and leaves you happy and remembering why you continue to play.

No point to this post, just thought Id share ;)

Here's to great gaming, KS. CHEERS! I'm sitting home reading posts and watching a 10 year-old movie on cable. One of our group, who's house we game at, is fighting some bug or another. The game got called. So thanks for letting me enjoy a good gaming session vicariously through you. ;)

HURRAH!!! to the great game session!

That is exactly the same way that I have come to feel about the game. I am now getting a lesson on how important the game is in keeping one sane. I am in the process of moving a LONG distance away from my current group (Arizona to Iowa) and the only people going with me are my brother and fiancee. Those two people combined with this board are all that is keeping me from doing things that I know that I would regret doing (that will remain unstated). In fact I would like to find some gamers in the Eastern Iowa area.

HURRAH!!!! for the great game session!

Thanx. WilyQuixote was the GM and Dr. Lucky was the other player involved. The rest of the group couldnt make it but we soldiered on regardless, and Im glad we did.

Hoping it wasnt a fluke ;)
