I have read the FAQs, 5er and searched the board.

1) An attack has megascale and does knockback, is the knockback megascale as well?

2) If so, how would you figure the damage? Roll several times for each wall they go thru? Would they get to apply their defenses to each wall or would they be considered one attack?

3) if it is megascale, how would you figure the distance they would travel? And their velocity?

1. That depends on what the MegaScale is bought to affect. If it’s bought to make the attack work over enormous distances, then the MegaScale only affects Range, not Knockback. If the MegaScale’s bought to affect Knockback (which, of course, assumes the creator of the power can justify it to the GM), then it affects the KB, not the Range.

2. Damage is figured as usual for Knockback, with the MegaScale affecting the distances involved. For example, if an attack has MegaScaled KB (1” = 1 km), then for each 1 km traveled, the victim takes 1d6 damage (assuming he hits something or the like; standard KB rules apply).

3. Using the standard rules for Knockback as modified for the MegaScale (see #2). Velocity is irrelevant; it doesn’t affect Knockback, and the distance traveled via Knockback occurs immediately.
