View Full Version : Attack From Behind/Multiple Attacker Penalty 2

I just wanted to be sure I understood this fully.

Using my earlier example:

Attackers A, B, and C attack Target D (DCV 6). A attacks from the front while B and C attack from behind but only C actually stealths up to attack D (so only C gets the "from behind" benefit). All three make their Teamwork rolls. Multiple Attacker penalty, -2 DCV. Based on this, D has a DCV 4 vs. A and B and a DCV of 2 (6 - 2, halved because of the "from behind" penalty) vs. C. The "from behind" penalty would only apply for the first attack because after that, D knows about C (at which point, only the -2 Multiple Attacker penalty applies).

Thanks!

That generally seems correct to me. Some GMs might allow B a "from behind" bonus for at least his first attack, depending on the circumstances.
