a question about transform

i am new to the hero system and i am really enjoying it, during our last game a problem came up and we are not completly sure the answer. When you get transformed it has to transform enough points equal to your body to acheive the effect. to fix the transformation you either need to heal the body from the transform provided the the power wasnt created with a specific way of removing the effect i.e kissing the frog to turn him back into a prince. however this is not the case for for the particular situation it heals like normal body dmg. The problem we ran into is that the effected character has regen. regen changes the rate at which i heal body. so instead of healing body dmg with my recovery per month all body dmg i get i heal with my 1d6 of regen.
According to the transform power you heal from a transform at the same rate you heal from a normal wound in this case one body during a post 12. the regen power says that it cant be used to heal a power without the GMs approvale. i also took this to mean that if i have one of my powers suppressed or whatever the case may be that ui cant have my regen help me get this back faster.
Let me get more to the point can regen be used to heal transform body and is the body done by transform considered to be that same as normal body unless another way to recover the transform is choosen at the creaion of that transform. My final question is dose having regen count as actually changeing the rate at which you recover dmg or is your recovery in body per month always considered the rate at which you heal from any and all body dmg?

This depends on how the Transform is defined. If the Transform is simply defined as “character must heal the BODY back normally,” then generally Healing Regeneration counteracts the effects quickly by allowing the character to heal BODY “damage” at a much faster rate than normal. However, it would be possible to define the effects of a Transform as “character must heal the BODY back at the standard REC/month rate,” in which case Regeneration wouldn’t have any effect. If there’s some question as to whether Regeneration should apply, the final decision rests, as always, in the wise and competent hands of the GM. ;)
