Question about v3

I was wondering if the data files for V2 work with V3 or if someone would need purchase them again?

I heard from Dan today that, yes, the data files will be compatible.

Yup...v2 files will run fine under v3. v1 files will run as well (though with the same occasional manual tweak that is necessary under v2). To a more limited extent, v3 files should run under v2, though you shouldn't really bank on that as v3 matures and expands.
