FYI - DieCon 6 is coming up the first weekend in June at the Gateway Convention Center in Collinsville, IL.

Yes, there will be some HERO games being run there. There are also lots of other RPG and other gaming and gaming-related events scheduled.

FYI - Here is the game info that I submitted for the games that I will be running in DieCon 6. I don't yet know what time slots I will be given, however.

Game #1
Game Title: "Superheroes come in all shapes and sizes"
Game System: Hero System (Champions)
Game Company: Hero Games
Game Type: RPG
Game Description: Forming a new hero team is tough - forming one after the destruction of an old one is tougher. A mix of retired veterans and inexperienced team-mates have to try and turn themselves into a well-honed unit before something goes even more horribly wrong.

Game Title: "Have six-shooter & space-suit, will travel."
Game System: Hero System (Star Hero)
Game Company: Hero Games
Game Type: RPG
Game Description: In the vast expanse of the Hundred-Star Empire, you are aboard a small frigate with a well-trained band of Mercenaries on a secret mission that may give you the secret of stopping the brutal expansion of the Morovian Prophet's forces. Time is limited and so are resources; "Good Luck" is your last word from HQ.

Game System: Hero System (Dark Champions)

Game Description: You prowl the dark streets, hunting for predators; they used to fear you but now there is one that hunts both the Hunters and the Hunted alike, leaving a trail of blood and death. Do you Fear the Reaper?

Game Description: The superhero team Campaign City Cavalry has faced many challenges - but can they stop the villain group Plan A, with the mysterious Kaleidoscope? This is an introduction to the Hero System, using the simplified Sidekick rules. No prior experience with Hero System is necessary.

I am currently slotted for Saturday, 9 am - 1 pm.

P.S. - There are two additional Hero System games currently slotted to run at the con, by a GM who usually does d20, no less!! Six Hero games out of a current total of about 90...

Game #1 is 7 PM on Friday, June 2.

"To stop a message" - Fantasy Hero, 5th Ed.
Description: "You have been hired to stop a group from delivering two messages to nearby kingdoms. These messages could mean the end of your kingdoms way of life."

7PM on Saturday, June 3.
"It was supposed to be a milk run". - Hero 5th Edition, Space (Star Hero?)
Description: "The cargo is secured and all systems have green lights. All is normal until the proximity alarm sounds. What was a normal run from Alpha Prime to Kalga III, just turned nasty."

So, looks like there are some good choices for HERO goodness! And the only conflicts are for the 2 pm on Saturday spot, so you'll have to choose between Fantasy Hero and Star Hero if you decide to play one or the other.
