You also have to know the cheesy lines, like:

"Die, die! The Spider bids you die!"

VERY cool site!

Well, I fight crime as Harbinger as a job. Now I can fight crime as the Spider in my spare time. :D

(The real joke here is for Darren to say, "Hey, you're not allowed any spare time!" ;) )

You have spare time? With all the writing you do? :jawdrop:

You must have bought Life Support: Does Not Sleep.

Well, I fight crime as Harbinger as a job. Now I can fight crime as the Spider in my spare time. :DYeah, but when you really think about it, how much crime is there to fight in the shower, or while going to the bathroom? ;)

Very. And I think I recognize some of the quotes used...yeah, I have 'Red Death Rain' buried somewhere. Leaves out the 'Totally devastate city, only to have it come back to life next story' tools, though. That one story with the steel-eating chemical...yeesh.

That needs to be updated to 5ER. He doesn't even have Two-Weapon Fighting!

Very. And I think I recognize some of the quotes used...yeah, I have 'Red Death Rain' buried somewhere.

Which had what must have been the most gruesome finish in any Spider story -- a villainess raped to death by a berserk ape:

"From somewhere outside the room, they heard female screams, the screams of Ya-chie, mingled with the bellow of the orang-utang. Kirkpatrick fled the room, followed closely by the other officers. After a few moments Wentworth and Nita heard the anguished cries of the ape, accompanied by a fusillade of shots."

"Kirkpatrick returned to the chamber, pale and shaking."

"We were too late," he said. "Ya-chie is dead. The orang-utang had mated."

"We were too late," he said. "Ya-chie is dead. The orang-utang had mated."

And that pretty much says it all for the Spider.

We always thought he was so insanely driven because every criminal was one more speed bump on the road to him getting any.

Well, ya gotta admire the man for sticking with his Psychological Limitations. ;)
