First, I have no idea of what any sales numbers are of any of the HERO books. All I can go on is what Steve and Darren have said that they are doing okay. (And don't we all just pray they are.)

Anyhoo. I am wondering since HERO has risen from the dead who really is buying the HERO books. Is it the old faithful gamers that got into 3rd and 4th edition now coming back? (I put myself in with this group.)

Or, are we generating new blood. People new to gaming or players that have played other games and are now coming into HERO 5e?

I am not sure what forum to post this in so I tried it here.

Maybe you should do a poll?:D I'm an old timer, myself. Honestly, I haven't met any newbies buying Hero stuff...

Im an oldy and buy it all, and the member of my group that buys some of the material is also an oldy. However, we've brought in some newbies and they've bought a couple of copies of Fred between them, and HD.

I have seen some people on these boards who claim to be new blood, and that's hopeful. HERO must not perish from this Earth... ;)

I, myself, was introduced to Champions in the very late 80's/early 90s I believe. The GM I ended up with had been in it for ever, so I got a healthy exposure to earlier editions as well as 4th. I began to run my friends on my own game...

Then..*Sighs* Fuzion. I won't get into it, save to say I am VERY Glad the DoJ saved HERO.

I guess I'm old blood, but still no vet compared to many of the grizzled warriors on the board ;)

Yeah, you should definitely make a poll for this topic.

I'm an old-timer myself.

I am an old HERO fart.
I am also a new fan, of 5th edition.

I bought heavily into the new company because I think they are putting out the kind of quality products that the HERO system has deserved for years.

I was a big fan in the early 80s. Dropped off in the late 90s. And am now back in full force.

Go HERO!
