Why Psycic Bond

Reading over the description in 5th edition (I don't have 5er) of MInd Link: Psycic Bond it seems to be an adder version of the advantage "Inherent" or am I missing something

Doesn't Psychic Bond also remove the LOS requirement?

I believe it still needs LOS to connect/reconnect - otherwise the range for Psychic Bond is planetary, even galactic if appropriate.

Psychic Bond removes the need for LOS and range is planetary, with the option of greater range based on campaign. Your basic psychic bond costs 10 pts.

Trying to rebilid this with the No LOS adder and the inherent advantage would come out to a cost of 19 pts. This would increase if the game was one that spanned galaxies or dimensions.
