Desolidifcation and senses

Bonjour,

Does a desolid character 'feel' if he has part of his body in solid matter ?
Supposing he is not able to perceive his environment ( ie in a darkness field ), how could he know he can resolidify safely ?

A Desolidified character cannot feel solid objects at all. He can perceive them with his other senses as appropriate, but he can’t touch them any more than they can touch him. If he's concerned about re-solidifying, he's either got to take his chances or remain intangible.
