Dan,

I know you where trying to work out how to do Custom Martial Arts Manuevers in v2 and then decided that it would be something best left for v3.

Question being, where you able to get it worked out?

I haven't had an opportunity to mess around with the Martial Arts tab yet and was just curious about it.

Thanks!

Custom Maneuvers are still handled the way they were in v2 for the moment.

I do intend to work in a custom maneuver builder....but it's mainly a matter of prioritization and timing -- there's a LOT of work required to implement it and not too many folks that would get any benefit out of it (since all of the Maneuvers from UMA are built in and can be renamed as needed).

True.

I was mainly looking at if from the stand point of the Expanded Martial Arts list that was generated in one of the Digital Hero's. Would be nice to be able to imput those manuevers and then have the STR, DC's etc figured for ya.

In any case, thanks for the reply.

Ohh. I too wait for this. Thanks for the update, Dan.

Ditto. And I want to bring up a question I asked before: will you allow for an option to build maneuvers costing more than 5 points? (Maybe with a Game Rules setting to allow/disallow.) This would enable grandfathering in the optional rule from Ninja Hero 4e. (I know you're only obligated to keep up with 5e, and if this is too much scope creep on the feature, I definitely understand.)

I plan on allowing the potential for it ;)

Basically, I'm figuring on having most of that in the template definition for the ability -- so with a custom template, you'd be able to override much/all of the limits that are built in to support the 5E rules.

And that will definitely fit the bill. Thanks!
