Falling Desolids

If a falling desolid character hits the ground do they make a sound.... I mean do they take damage?

If not, when do they stop falling?

Do they emerge in China?

Check the writeup of Desolidification in the book. It addresses these issues, and what it doesn't cover explicitly you should be able to deduce with no problem. ;)
