Dan, I am seeing a peculiar behavior from the Recently Selected list.
I have a Limited Power modifier No Iron (-½) that applies to every power I'm creating (this is a Fantasy spell list).

The modifier shows on every other power. That is, I create a spell and apply the modifier by selecting it from the list. When I create the next spell and go to the Recently Selected list, No Iron is not in the list.
Create a 3rd power, it's back.
This behavior, of being available on alternate powers, continues all through any given session of using HD.
It seems to be limited to modifiers created using Limited Power.

I'm currently running build 2006042407, but I have observed this behavior far back into version 2. (I've never reported it before because I hadn't tested it enough to be sure that it was consistent until just recently.)

I'm not showing that behavior....the only thing that I can see that would prevent the Modifier from showing in the Recently Selected list is if you already had Limited Power applied to the power in question.

Also...you may want to try the update from yesterday. A bug that I fixed at the end of the day may have been influencing that behavior.

More information:
I've just downloaded and applied the latest update; now shows I'm running build 2006042505.

The behavior is reproducible with other Modifiers, including specifically Gestures and Incantations.
It occurs when selecting a new power which does not yet have any modifiers applied.

One other thing that might be a factor: All the powers I'm using are in lists. Each spell is created in a list, which holds all variants of that spell.
Example: The list is called Fireball. In that list are 4 spells, listed as Fireball (1), Fireball (2), and so on. Each spell is the power Energy Blast, with varying power levels and appropriate modifiers applied.

Post your trace.log file when the problem occurs....I really cannot get that behavior to happen (been trying for a while now).

Thanks for checking; this is crazy enough that I almost didn't bug you with it, but I am seeing it now.

Could it have to do with the length of the Recently Selected list? There are a LOT of items in mine, including Side Effects I used a LONG time ago but have not used recently.

Here's the trace.log where Incantations showed, but No Iron (the Limited Power) and Gestures did not.

Try removing the plugin that you are running -- it's causing errors.

Sorry for the delay; wasn't able to test yesterday.

Removed the plugin; still seeing the problem.

Attached are screenshots and the trace log.

Still can't get it to occur on my end.

Post the character file that you're working on and I'll take a look.

OK, thanks Dan.
Here's the last one I was working on, when I took the screenshots.

Still not sure what to tell you on this one -- if I remove the modifiers from the Suppress abilities, add in Gestures, Incancations and Limited Power (No Iron) to the first one, the Recently Selected list shows all three of those Limitations for each of the remaining powers when edited.

There's nothing in the code that would remove the items from the list unless there was either another object already assigned that had the same display or another Modifier of the same type assigned which had been flagged as exclusive (only one can be assigned).

Try these steps and see what you get.

1. Add a Power (any one; doesn't matter).
2. Click Add Modifier. Immediately select the Recently Selected list. Pick something from that list (the custom No Iron, Gestures, Incantations, and Concentration have all been observed to do this in my testing).
3. OK your way out to the Powers list.
4. Select another Power (same or different, shouldn't matter).
5. Repeat step 2.

In my testing, at step 5 the Limitations No Iron, Gestures, and Incantations are missing from the list, where they were available at step 2.

Thanks again for checking.

That's pretty much exactly what I've been doing -- no problems encountered.

Though I should point out that if you select the same Power for step 4, the Limitations won't appear in the Recently Selected list as they have already been applied to the Power and are no longer available/valid.

What I meant to say was, Select a Power from the (available) Powers list (over on the right side), which makes a new entry on the left side, in the character's actual Powers list. (Are there better names for the right-side/left-side lists?)

In other words, NOT copying and pasting a power, but always selecting a power from the (right-side) list.

Don't know if that makes any difference, but just wanted to be sure it was clear.
