View Full Version : Powers with negative costs

The other day I was inputting the Air Elemental from HSB into HD, when I ran across the "power" True Flyer, which is defined as Running -6", Swimming -2", for a total of -14 points. Clearly I can simply sell back Running and Swimming on the Characteristics pane to record this. Is there any way, however, to enter it as it appears in the HSB writeup? I.e., adding a Running power with a negative value and "Add to primary"? If so I couldn't figure it out. :)
Cheers!

You will need to just sell it off on the Characteristics tab. The issue with having negative values for Running as a Power is that, because of the way things total, there's no real way to check to ensure that you're not winding up with a negative total, which is both illegal and non-sensical.
It's something that I may change for v2, but that will depend on how the calculations end up.

Cool. Thanks. As a compromise, it occurs to me that I could create an empty power list with the title "True Flyer: -6" Running, -2" Swimming" just to get it to print out on the Powers list. Which is cool if you're as anal as I. :)
Cheers!
