I have a couple of questions about adjustment powers, as I suspect we've been playing them wrong for quite a while. 1) the modifiers for affecting more than one power/characteristic at a time: do you still need to specify in advance (ie: at character creation) what the powers/characteristics are? Or could they be picked whenever the power is used? 2) How does the 'of a common special affect' work with characteristics? 3) If I just want to drain two characteristics, can I use that modifier? 4) Or do I need to buy two powers (perhaps linked)? 5) And could I use the +2 advantage to affect all characteristics at once? Thanks.

1. No -- you can pick them each time you use the power.

2. Like it does with any other ability. If the Characteristics fall within a given special effect, then an Adjustment Power able to affect multiple abilities of that special effect can affect them.

3-4. Yes; many example powers in Hero Games books are built that way -- able to affect, say, four Characteristics simultaneously.

5. Yes.
