Hiya Dan,
When dealing with Requires Skill Roll, would it be possible to have a clickable feature that would show what the minus to the roll would be?

For example:
Magic Missile: 1 pip RKA, Requires Magic Roll (-1/2), Gestures (-1/4), Incantations (-1/4) [1 END, -1 Magic] or even [1 END; -1]

Wouldn't you just add that in the comment of the modifier?

Unless you would like it to automatically update as you make changes to the skill itself.

I know I use the Notes section and so that it comes out like this: -X to X Roll.

That way I don't have to worry about changing what the roll is, just look at the notes and go "Ah, Acrobatics, -2" . .. .

The program won't do that automatically because:

a) it's not part of the WG

and

b) the minus to the roll is dependent on the level that the ability is used at (i.e. it is not a fixed value, which is the opposite of what would be indicated by listing a minus in the display).

So if I have a power built on 50 active points and use it at full power I incur a -10 to my RSR but if I chose to only use it at the 30 point level I only incur a -6 to my RSR (assuming a -1 per 5 active points penalty)?

If this is the case I've been doing this wrong... SSHHH! Don't tell my players, they have been rolling against the max penalty for years....
