Steve, I see that you have a Fantasy hero and a Star hero forum. All you need now is one for the modern era. This would give the fans of Dark Champions and Danger International to discuss campaigns and rules for the modern era. I know you have the Other Genre forum, but I think it would be nice to have a Modern Hero forum:)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but didn't they say Pulp HERO was going to cover the "modern" era as well?

Actually, the main genre book that is going to cover the modern era is next summer's planned Dark Champions. Whereas the original Dark Champions was really only oriented towards low-level vigilantee superheroes, this incarnation is planned to include all modern action genres such as spies as well. It really sounds like it is much more "Modern Hero" than it is Dark Champions as the latter implies superheroes. I just wonder if the insistence on going with the Dark Champions name is going to cost Hero sales that another title might not. But perhaps not, as it will attract a large chunk of Champions fans as well as those "Modern Hero" fans who look beyond the title to what the game is planned to cover.

Edit: When I posted this, I realized I should address the Pulp Hero comment. I believe the plan (and Steve, Allen, Darren, or even Ben :) can feel free to correct me) is to cover the grittier modern day stuff in Dark Champions while Pulp Hero would cover the pulpier modern day stuff. Of course, just when Pulp Hero may come out is a question many of us would like to see answered :).

Okay, so I was getting Pulp Hero and Dark Champions confused. My bad.

Dark Champions will cover all the "modern day action" stuff.

Pulp Hero covers pulp-era adventuring. It's not going to apply to anything past, say, 1939 unless you just feel like importing the "feel" to some other game.

Steve, what are the chances of getting this forum please?
