After much waffling I'm finally posting about my webcomic "Heroes of Vibora Bay" based in the Champions Universe.
I'm hesitant about posting it because I'm not entirely happy with it. I have learned quite a bit from creating it though.
I still have a couple of pages to go on issue 1, then I hope to impliment some changes and improvements for the next issue.
You can read what I've finished so far at: http://kd.dynip.com/WoE/web_comics.htm

I like it, I can only imagine how long it took to set that up. What program did you use to do all those renderings?

The rendering was done using Poser6 and then I used Corel Draw to add the balloons and text.

My first thought: do you have permission from Hero Games to use their intellectual property?
I can't actually look at the site at the moment, since I'm pushing my luck being here at the moment...

I had to take a week off to work on another project. Now that the project is done I can get back to the comic.
Issue 1 will be 12 pages long so I only have two more to go. :) I takes me around a week to do a page, Since I usually only have around an hour a day to work on it that averages out to one page per 8 hours, or one per working day. Now if I could only work on it full time...

It's the TV series Uma Thurman's character had once auditioned for in Pulp Fiction.
The organization that the Bride was a part of in Kill Bill 1&2 was also a nod to the same source material.

Yeah, very groovy. I can see the learning curve as the comic progresses, but all of it is far better than anything I could do. Thanks for sharing!

It is an interesting comic, and I like the story...
I have problems with Mind Girl. Her motivation makes no sense. According to her brief bio, she is interested in using her powers and wealth to help others... but thinks that Sun Girl is low-life scum? That does not fit.
If someone wants to help those less fortunate than themselves... they should be looking out for all.
If she has a personal grudge against Sun Girl for one reason or another, that is one thing; but that does not seem to be the case.

You don't have to like someone to want to help them, like people who donate money to homeless charities but will cross the street if they see a homeless person aproaching them.
Her attitude is more that it is the responsibility of the quality people to take care of the unwashed masses who can't do it for themselves, kind of a "Noblesse oblige".
Of all the group members she is the most unlikeable, although when push comes to shove she is fully on the side of good.
Her problems with Sun Girl start with SG being lower-class and are exacerbated by SG's take-no-crap attitude.
In future stories I hope to explore their relationship.

Looks good. Render quality is nice, but a bit dark in the first few pages...
Only reall thought was, the names. They're kind of silly.
Keep it up, Rep to thee.

I think that you are confusing Knight Rider with (believe it or not) an Episode of CHiP's called Force Seven which starred Fred Dryer as Lt. John LeGarre, who put together a squad of ninjas to work on cases in Los Angeles. They raided the compound to stop the terrorists that had acquired a nuclear bomb.

Very nice - I'd love to see more. I especially liked Tech Girl's gun fading in in that panel sequence, and Sun Girl taking out the leader.
I liked the names - I just took the simplicity as stylistic. On the plot, I think the plan was a bit too reckless, but I know that you were just going for a quick intro story.

Awesome.
I can tell that the comic is a 'labour of love' - it looks like it'd be a lot of fun to create.
Repped!

Yah, superheroes are not known for their extensive planning. :eg:
A big part of that was my foolish desire to actually produce a printed copy of the comic. It caused me to take shortcuts and leave out a lot of exposition.
For the next issue I'm not going to try and make a hard copy so I can let the page count be what it needs to in order to tell the story properly. I'm also switching to landscape mode so the page will better fit the screen and be easier to read.
