I tried to load HD into my system. The autoinstaller puts in the files but I never see anything else! The files never come up but memory on my C drive is taken up so something is being downloaded but it's not showing up! And I have no idea what has been put in my files so i can't take it out.
Is there a way for me to load HD to my D drive or does it automatically load to the C drive? I have loaded it on another computer and it works fine on that one. I attempted to copy the files from the computer that has HD on it and copy it to my other computer but that didn't work.
Need some help here. Appreciate any help.

Several questions, 'cuz I can't quite piece together what you're doing.
1. How are you installing it? Are you just downloading the installer and never running it?
2. When you copy over HD from an existing machine to your new one, what exactly are you doing?
3. When you try to install HD, are you getting the screen which asks you to confirm/select a directory to install to? If so, what's keeping you from changing to your D drive at that point?
The reasons I ask are that copying from one machine to another shouldn't cause any problems at all.....it's just a Java app, really....there are no registry entries or anything else required.

When I put in the Disc it load up and says it is extracting files. After that there is nothing. No display to ask if I want to install or anything! That display never shows up on my screen. And like I said when I check my C drive there is memory being taken up by whatever it extracted but I can't find it to delete it.
Now as far as copying the file onto a disc I did that and I even tried running the program from the disc itself that I copied. It works on the computer that I was able to copy it from but when i tried the same thing on the one I have at home it didn't work. It loads up to the screen where you can start opening characters but when I click on 'new' or 'open' for an existing character it shuts down.
Unless I have something in my system that is causing this I have no clue in what's going on. Could it be something with the java files in my computer?

The only issue that I know of that will simply cause the app to crash out is a corrupt font file on your system.
When you say that you can successfully install on the other system, I assume this to mean that you have HD up and running on that system. If this is the case, then the fix on the problem system is pretty straightforward.
Try the following:
1. Install HD on the "working" system.
2. Update HD to version 1.44 on the "working" system.
3. Copy the entire HD install directory from the "working" system to the "problem" system.
4. Try launching HD on the problem system. HD will likely crash out.
5. Post the file "trace.log" that will be in your install directory after launching HD.
