Sometime toward the end of July, I'm moving to Naperville, IL so I can attend law school at John Marshall in downtown Chicago. I know the whole area is immense, so I wanted to see if there were any HERO gamers and/or good gaming stores in the area. Let me know here or by PM, however you like. :)

bwdemon,
So you're gonna commute from Naperville into Chicago for school???
That's not gonna be much fun.
Check out Graham Cracker's Comics in downtown Naperville. They used to sell gaming stuff several years ago but I'm not sure if they still do. Also, check at Fox Valley Mall on Rte 59 to see if they have a Gamer's Paradise.
College of DuPage in Glen Ellyn may still have a Sci-Fi/Fantasy club. If they do, you could find some local gamers in that area.

The commute shouldn't be so bad, I plan to take the Metra express to downtown Chicago in the morning and back again in the afternoon. It'll be a 30-45 minute commute compared to more than an hour to drive the same distance and it'll be a LOT cheaper.
Thanks for the tips, I'll check into them when I get settled. :)

Depending on which part of Naperville you are moving to, you might also want to check out Leisure Hours at the Louis-Joliet Mall. It is listed as Joliet, but the mall is in between Joliet and Plainfield. That is probably a 30-45 minute drive. I know there are a couple of games going on around there. One of the employees was trying to get a group together not too long ago. I get up there about once a month, but it is about an hour's drive north for me.
You might also want to check out this forum a little closer. I know that buzz lives in Naperville and he posted that he was looking for a game not too long ago as well.

Due to a phone call I got this morning, it looks like I won't be moving to Naperville after all. The University of Akron called to offer me a full tuition scholarship and I can't think of any reason to say "no" to that.
So instead of becoming a Napervillain, I'm off to the land of the Zips in northeast Ohio...
