When building a character, the total point value and the amount already spent is displayed for the user's reference. This is a Good Thing.

What's not so good is that the character value is displayed as a sum of the base points and the maximum potential points from disads, rather than as the sum of the base points and the disads actually used.

For example, when building a character using the Standard Superhero template (200pts plus up to 150pts in disads) the display always shows "Total Spent x/350" even if there have been no disads taken at all.

Is it possible to change the "Total Spent" display to count the true total rather than the maximum potential total?

I to wish this was possible as I have had trouble explaining the difference to dense players.

Actually... I prefer this the way it is. YMMV (and apparently does).

It's going to stay the way it is.

Dan, any chance of making this a user-set option in v2? Again, what makes most sense for one person is not always what makes most sense for all users.

I don't have any plans of doing so at this point.
