HD packs compatible with v.2 and v3?

I have v.2, and I was just about to buy some of the packages when I realized v.3 is out - are they compatible with both?

(I assume this has been answered many times, but I've had a lot of trouble with the search function on this board - sorry.)

Most of the Data packs were created using V2 and thus are 100% v2 compliant. All of the data packs work with v3 but those created prior to v3 might need to be tweaked to take advantage of v3 features. As to which were created using v3... I don't know, but I would guess the ones for books released after V3 came out.
