Here is my first Power Armor character.
Instead of the Jack of all trades gadgeteer I went with a theme. THE KNIGHT.

Very basic background.
Jason entered social services at age 8. Bounced around from foster parent to foster parent for four years. Ran awa and went to the city.

Around age 15 he picked the pocket of some rich guy walking on the sidewalk towds him. The 'mark' caought him. Instead of getting in trouble he got a job as the "mark's" right hand man.

After a few months the "mark" became more of a father than a boss (Jason almost risked his life protecting his boss from a mugger)

Jason later discovered his boss was also TECH KNIGHT. This helped Jason when he had to cover for his boss's non-business like activities. (During this time his boss was training him as a sqire <Side kick>).

After one battle with BLACK PALADIN the TECH KNIGHT was paralyzed.

To sum it up. Jason took the reigns and became the new Tech Knight.

If you like the background I will look through my notes and flesh it out some more (I spent three days on the background before even looking at a character sheet)

Not a bad little character! A couple observations, just off the top of my head:

1.) If you're going to present a character for critique, you may as well go all the way -- how about the stats for his trusty (or is that rusty?) steed?

2.) No knight motif would be complete without some sort of lance weapon; maybe differentiate it by making it Armor Piercing or Penetrating and give it an inch or two of Stretching.

3.) Assuming the armor's Power Batteries are a part of the armor itself and not some separate gadget, why not buy them as OIF instead of IIF and save yourself a few points? And even if you keep them as IIF, the final price would be 32, not 37.

4.) Since most fo the MP slots are 30-pointers anyway, and assuming you'll want a way to protect all those damsels in distress, why not add "Usable to Protect Others (+1/2)" on the Missile Defelction?

5.) To save yourself the hassle of having to roll your shield's Armor activation every time you get attacked, I'd simplify it by switching the Limitation to "Not vs. Surprise Attacks (-1/4)" for the same cost. Just say that he's SO good, nothing's getting past that shield unless he's completely blindsided.

6.) Just my personal preference, but I'd take advantage of the "Hero's Round-Up" rules and bump the CON to 18 and PRE to 18.
