In Physical Limitation, in the "Limitation Occurs" dropdown, the word "Frequently" is preceded by a superfluous left parenthesis. :)

Actually, that's intentional.

It's necessary for the proper WG formatting for the disad.

HD will close out any "open" parentheses when formatting the display. The opening paren allows the template to specify where to start the parentheses for that particular Disad.

It's a bit funky (and will likely be re-addressed for v2), but it was the best way to get things working per the WG for the very generic disad format that HD v1 uses.

But only "Frequently" shows up this way. "Infrequently" and "All The Time" don't. Is this also as it should be?

Hehehe...yup. You've been tricked ;-)

The items in question will "reformat" automatically when selected. If you select "Infrequently", it will change to "(Infrequently" and "(Frequently" will change back to "Frequently".

In my twisted little mind, this made sense ;)

Ahh... okay, I see where/why I'm seeing a problem. :)

This works great for newly created characters. However, if I open an existing character (from before whenever this change was made, presumably), it has nothing separating Disads from their component descriptions. (Unless I go back to all of them, re-select them, and re-save the character)

For example, I open up an existing villain and instead of this:

Psychological Limitation: Powerhungry (Common, Total)

I get this:

Psychological Limitation: Powerhungry Common, Total

Is there a way to fix this in existing characters other than re-entering the Disads? I assume this change was made to accomodate the WG, but I didn't realize what it was gonna do. Must have missed a meeting. :)

Not really. Existing characters should still be displaying the same way they used to be.....if you want to get the "new formatting" for Disads, they will need to be re-entered.

I made the changes as "backwards compatible" as I was able, but I couldn't force changes on existing characters in that manner as I had no way of knowing whether the Disads were entered using default values or custom ones.

Must have missed a meeting. :) The way I did it for all my characters was to open the disad, select the appropriate drop down, select a different option, and then change it back, and it works perfectly. It is very time consuming, but it gets everything formatted quickly. If that didn't make any sense, let me know and I'll be more specific.
Hope that helps somewhat.

I don't think I'll bother with the scores of characters from the Bestiary and CKC that now have this problem, though. ;)

I use tab and then down arrow, up arrow or visa versa. It goes much faster that way.
