You'll probably also like the original HeroMachine 2.0 (http://www.ugo.com/channels/comics/heroMachine2/heromachine2.asp)

I prefer Hero Machine 2.0, but I do have to admit that even that has a lot of limits.

The one on scifi is basically the HeroMachine engine with a different pair of core paper dolls. There are somewhat fewer choices on the scifi channel version, but if you have both the 2.0 link and the Who Wants to Be... link, you can squeeze some extra variations out of the system.

Wow - when did hero machine become so limited? It used to be as robust as the CoH character designer, but man - I cant make ANYthing there.

I've always thought HeroMachine, though cool, to be quite limited. And the goofy poses that are duplicated on almost every character stink! :idjit:
I have seen so many blasters/energy projectors with their index finger curled up like wrapped around a trigger, but with nothing in their hands... it makes me crazy! :doi:
I maintain a COH/COV account just for costume creation. Now that system can make a good design!
