Snowblind?

Both in the 25th edition reprint of Champions, and in Evil Unleashed, Icicle is replaced by "Snowblind." Same art; nearly the same powers and characteristics; different backstory.

When Hero Games published the Champions genre book, they believed they had the rights to the character of Icicle. That turned out to not be the case, or at least to be in dispute.

IIRC the other claimant is Dennis Malonee's comic company, Heroic Publishing, which also has rights to some of the other characters used in early Champions publications.

FWIW I think that "Snowblind" is a (deliberate groan inducer) cooler name.

Is it the FREd Mr. Freeze-like one (skin-tight parka, with ruffles around the waist) or the BBB skin-tight one where she's sliding on ice?

And, without plagarizing, can someone summarize what her new background is?

EU p110 - skin tight suit with fur at the ankles, waist, wrists and a cover on her shoulders with a fur lined hood.

It's the same picture used for Icicle, Champions p202.
