Where can I go to find groups in my area

Does anyone know where I can go to find a group that plays champions in the Los Angeles Area. I havent played in a long time, but I like the hero system out of all the other ones.

You might find some in the Player Finder section of the Forums. Announce you are looking for somethere, and see who bites :)

...and to point out the obvious, try to find some local shops that sell the stuff and either talk to some people who might be playing there or put an ad. =) Depending on how the community is around your area, it could be a good source. Also look for gaming clubs and the like in the area, even try a search of yahoo groups with your area name in it or even a general search like "Seattle Gaming Groups" or something.

Your local hobby shop is a good bet, though, or even a comics shop sometimes... assuming the player finder doesn't work.
